Missing Person/Habitual Runaway Investigation

The City of Carbondale Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing person. Kaitlin M Dawson, age 16 of Sparta, was last seen on 06-03-2018 at about 9:00 p.m. in the 1400 block of East Walnut Street.  She has reportedly been in the company of acquaintances. Dawson, pictured below, is about 5’03 tall, weighing about 120 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Dawson was last seen wearing a  black cutoff t-shirt, blue jeans and sandals.  Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Dawson should contact the Carbondale Police Department at 618-457-3200.  The investigation into this incident is continuing.
