Aggravated Battery with a Firearm Investigation

On 04-05-18 at approximately 1:55 a.m., officers with the City of Carbondale Police Department responded to the 200 block of North Wall Street in reference to a shooting.  Officers found one individual with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.  The victim was taken to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale for treatment. The investigation revealed the victim, who is not being identified at this time, and one of the two suspects are acquaintances.  The first suspect is described as a dark complected black male in his early to mid-twenties wearing a light blue hoodie and jeans, believed to be armed with a handgun.  The second suspect, who is acquainted with the victim, is described as a 31 year old black male wearing a black jacket, a black hoodie, and black pants. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
