Missing Person/Habitual Runaway Investigation

The City of Carbondale Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating two runaway/missing persons. Mariyiah C. Turner, age 13, was last seen on 03-28-2018 at about 5:00 p.m. in the in the 700 block of North Robert A. Stalls Avenue. Turner is described as about 5’04” tall, weighing about 125 pounds, with brown eyes and short black hair. She was last seen wearing tan pants with white, pink and black leggings, gray shoes and a white hooded sweatshirt. Haley Monaco, age 12, was last seen on 03-28-2018 around 1:30 am 200 block of North Wall Street. Monaco is described as about 5’02”, weighing about 120 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Turner and Monaco are believed to be together, and believed to still be in the Carbondale area. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Turner and/or Monaco should contact the Carbondale Police Department at 618-457-3200. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
