Burglary to Motor Vehicle Arrests

On 12-22-2017, at around 12:30 a.m., officers with the City of Carbondale Police Department responded to the 1100 block West Walkup Street in reference to a report of two males suspects who appeared committing burglaries to motor vehicles. Officers located the two suspects in the area, who initially fled from officers, but were captured after a short distance. The suspects were determined to be two male juveniles and they were found to have entered and removed property from several vehicles in the Twisdale, Walkup and Hill Street areas. The juveniles were arrested and taken to the Jackson County Jail to await transfer to the Franklin County Juvenile Detention Center. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
