Burglary to Motor Vehicle Investigation

On 11-14-2017 at around 10:54 p.m., officers with the City of Carbondale Police Department responded to the 1200 block West Main Street in reference to a report of a burglary to motor vehicle. Officers learned the suspect was speaking with the victim through the open passenger side window of the victim’s car. The suspect reached into the interior of the car and stole property belonging to the victim. The suspect drove away in a newer model, gray Toyota Tundra last seen turning east onto West Main Street. The suspect, pictured below, was described as a black female, about 5’02” tall with a skinny build and wearing a hooded sweat jacket and sweat pants.
