Motor Vehicle Theft Investigation

On 11-23-17 at 6:50 am, officers responded to the 400 block of South Skyline Drive in reference to a report of a stolen vehicle.  Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who reported that she started her vehicle in order to warm her white 2014 Toyota Rav4, Illinois registration AB11589, while it was parked in her driveway. She returned to the inside of her residence, leaving the vehicle running.  At 7:00 am, she realized the vehicle was missing. Officers have been unable to locate the vehicle and it has been entered into the police database as stolen.
