Robbery & Burglary Investigations

The City of Carbondale Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in attempting to identify two individuals believed to be responsible for three felony offenses within the last two weeks. The crimes include a commercial burglary that occurred on 7-26-17 around 10:10pm at Citgo, 2101 South Illinois Avenue, an armed robbery that occurred on 7-27-17 around 9:00pm at Dollar General, 2160 Ramada Lane, and an armed robbery that occurred on 8-9-17 around 11:50pm at Primo’s Pizza, 604 East Park Street.

The male suspects wore different Halloween masks during each incident. They also wore heavy coats and gloves and are believed to be black males. One suspect was described as about 6’04” tall, weighing 220 pounds. The other suspect was described about 5’06” tall with a thin build. One of the males may have medium length blond dreadlocks. The investigation into these incidents is continuing.
