Criminal Trespass to Residence, Disorderly Conduct Arrest

On 03-11-17 at around 5:11 pm, officers with the City of Carbondale Police Department responded to the 1000 block of N Hunter Woods Ave in reference to a report of a suspect who unlawfully entered a residential garage. The resident reported he was in the front yard of his residence when he saw the male walk through his backyard and into his garage. He entered the garage to confront the male, who turned to reveal he had a knife in his hand. The resident called 911 and the suspect fled the area on foot. A Carbondale Officer and his K9 partner was deployed to track the suspect.  The K9 track led to the suspect, identified as Joshua B. Jordan, who was hiding in a backyard around four blocks away. Jordan was arrested without incident and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Trespass to Real Property. Jordan was transported to Jackson County Jail for incarceration.
