Unlawful Use of Credit Card Investigation

12-20-13 Web Release – Unlawful Use of Credit Card Investigation

On 10-15-13, the City of Carbondale Police Department received a report of an unlawful use of a credit card.  During the course of the investigation, officers learned that the suspect made several purchases with the credit card in Carbondale on 10-14-13 and 10-15-13.  The investigation has led to the identification of the suspect, Anthony J. Watts.  Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Watts is encouraged to contact the Carbondale Police Department’s Investigation Bureau. The investigation into this incident is continuing.

Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the Carbondale Police Department at 457-3200 Crime Stoppers at 549-COPS (2677). Anonymous tips can also be made by selecting the “Crime Stoppers” tab located on the main page of this website.
