Carbondale Police Payment Page
Welcome to E-Pay
Welcome to the City of Carbondale Police Department's payment page. In an effort to offer the most innovative payment options, the City of Carbondale has partnered with the Illinois State Treasurer's office to offer an easy and convenient way to pay your Administrative Tow Fees and Parking Tickets on-line.
Please remember that an E-pay payment does not guarantee the release of a vehicle. Other holds such as a law-mandated 12 hour DUI hold or an insurance hold may still apply. The registered owner of a vehicle must still come to the police department to obtain the towed vehicle release receipt to take to the tow agency or authorize a third party to do so by completing and returning a notarized original Authorization to Release Impounded Vehicle form. You will still be responsible for any fees owed to the tow agency.
Electronic payments can be made using your MasterCard, American Express or Discover. However, Visa is NOT accepted. There is a convenience fee charged for using this system. This fee is not charged or collected by the City of Carbondale. Click here to view the complete convenience fee schedule.
For more information on the Administrative Tow Fee, please see our Frequently Asked Questions Page.
