06-18-13 Web Release-Police Officer Memorial Service Honoring Those Killed in the Line of Duty

On 06-21-13 at 10:00a.m., the City of Carbondale Police Department will host its first memorial service honoring police officers killed in the line of duty. This year’s service will focus on police officers who lost their lives in the City of Carbondale with honorable mention of police officers that were killed in the line of duty in southern Illinois.  Officers from other police departments and citizens of Carbondale and other communities are welcome to come and join us as we commemorate the service of these individuals.
